They could possibly affect the ability to conceive but the greatest risk would be neonatal abstinence syndrome if you continue on opioids while pregnant. A terminally ill child with on-going epilepsy would be kept within intensive care until stable, and if no hope, would be transferred to hospice care. anxiety, but using it for that would be like killing a house fly with a cannon. Better anxiolytics are Ativan, Xanax, (alprazolam) Valium; although all of these can also be addicting.
