Did you sleep very soundly without moving? All these things and more can cause a spasm of the muscles, usually on the side of your dominant hand. See your surgeon. : While shoulder pain is common after laparoscopic surgery, it should be diminishing on postoperative day 5, not getting worse. You should contact your surgeon so he can evaluate you and make sure you don't have a post-op abscess or other complication. ...Read more
