More Fertile After Chemical Pregnancy
How can I boost my fertility? We've been trying for a year with nothing but a chemical pregnancy to show for it.
See a doctor: 'infertility' is defined as unprotected intercourse without conception for one year. This is based on studies demonstrating about 85% of normal couples conceive in that time. This does not depend at all on 'actively trying, ' just that a sexually active woman is at risk for becoming pregnant with her partner during that time frame.
When your due date arrives, you will be more than ready to have your baby! Most women deliver the baby somewhere between 37 and 42 weeks. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more

Miscarriage: Hi! A chemical pregnancy is simply a very early miscarriage. It happens so rapidly that the pregnancy test goes up and then back down in just a matter of a few days. Otten the only other symptom is a heavy or delayed period. Dr brown.
Bleeding after +BHCG: A chemical pregnancy is a term that has popped up on the internet. It simply means a miscarriage. Generally people are describing a miscarriage that occurred very early on. Symptoms are bleeding after having a positive pregnancy test. A chemical pregnancy is the same thing as an early miscarriage.
Doctors test for HCG: A biochemical pregnancy occurs when a woman becomes pregnant but has a spontaneous loss of her embryo/fetus before she even knows she had become pregnant. If HCG testing occurs before all of the HCG has been cleared out of the body, then HCG can be detected by a pregnancy test, giving a false positive pregnancy test.
??? Question: If you are pregnant, you will not have a period at that time. I do not know what you mean exactly by a "chemical pregnancy.".
Take the test: If you want to know if you are pregnant, take a test. In today's world you do not need to wonder if you are pregnant or not based on symptoms. Pregnancy tests are available at any pharmacy and in minutes you will have your answer. They can detect a pregnancy 7-10 days after conception. The best time to take one is when you miss your period.
If I think I am having a chemical pregnancy but haven't tested positive with a home test, what should I do?
Biochemical pregnanc: I suggest you repeat the home pregnancy test in a week - if you are biochemically pregnant now, the test should be positive in a week.
I had a chemical pregnancy 10 days ago and I done another pregnancy test which is positive what is going on?
Depends: It would be prudent to see your doctor for an evaluation and a blood test for HCG. The doctor may also consider doing an ultrasound examination. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time. You may consider implanted contraceptive, or IUD. Practice safe sex.
Had a 5 weeks misscarriage/ chemical pregnancy and my rh is negative...will it be a problem for my next pregnancy?
Probably not from Rh: The products/tissues of an early pregnancy loss at "5 weeks miscarriage/chemical pregnancy" are very unlikely to have any Rh antigens which can trigger the production Rh antibodies by your immune system. Checking your (current /future) partner's blood type and Rh may offer you additional reassurance if he too is Rh neg. It'snot very probable that Rh will be a problem in your next pregnancy.? Rhogam?
It appears I've experianced a chemical pregnancy. What can I do to have a h happy healthy pregnancy n baby? Advice?
Keep trying: Chemical pregnancies probably happen more often than most women realize. Just keep trying. In general though take preconceptual prenatal vitamins to improve outcome and ask your OB if they order Progesterone levels as women with luteal phase defects sometimes need Progesterone supplementation to maintain the pregnancy.See 1 more doctor answer
I am 5 weeks today & have some spotting. I had a chemical pregnancy 2 months ago at 5 weeks. Should I be concerned?
See doc 4 blood work: Early pregnancy is prone to staining/spotting. The only definite way to answer your question is to draw the blood level of BHCG & Progesterone. Most of the time, you have to have a repeat test in 48 hours to monitor dynamic changes in hormone levels. Additionally, if your dates are accurate, in 1-2 week you may benefit from sonogram evaluation (at present, it's probably too early to do) Good luck
I think im pregnant a few weeks after having a chemical pregnancy. Are my chances of having a healthy pregnancy goid?
Good chance: As long as your pregnancy takes hold, you should have a normal chance at a healthy pregnancy.
My luteal phaze is 10 days is that why I suffered a chemical pregnancy? Or would my LP not have anything to do with the chemical?
Chemical pregnancy: Normal luteal phase (from ovulation to first day of period) is 12-14 days. A short phase may mean there's not enough of your own Progesterone to support an early pregnancy. This can cause a very early miscarriage. However an abnormality in the chromosomes of the embryo will also cause miscarriage and is more likely. A Progesterone blood test 6days after ovulation will give information.
