For BP, is it healthier to actually have the proportion between the values of systolic and diastolic pressures to be a certain value? i.e. 120/80=1.5
Ratio not important: The ratio of systolic to diastolic pressures is meaningless and is not how doctors evaluate blood pressure. It's the actual numbers that are important. 150/100 also is a ratio of 1.5, but dangerously high. 110/73 has the same ratio but very low risk. Those are fine: Your blood pressure can change with activity, stress level, recent food, etc. It will not be the same reading each time you check it.
