Can you tell me for hypertension which drug out of fosinopril, telmisartan, oxenoprolol, felodipine, hydrochlorothiazide, amilord?

Can you tell me for hypertension which drug out of fosinopril, telmisartan, oxenoprolol, felodipine, hydrochlorothiazide, amilord?

BP med?: If the patient has angina, a beta-blocker may be the agent of choice, not necessarily oxenoprolol. If the patient has proteinuria, then either fosinopril (F) or telmisartan (T) would be excellent choices to reduce both the blood pressure. Felodipine and amlodopine can be used and may cause some leg swelling. Hydrochlorthiazide can be effective and causes loss of potassium and magnesium. Go for F. ...Read more

I take metoprolol, fosinopril, and diltiazem. What is my doctor thinking?

I take metoprolol, fosinopril, and diltiazem. What is my doctor thinking?

Hypertension: It would be best if you ask him in a straightforward and unchallenging fashion. Those are excellent medications for the treatment of hypertension. The combination implies you have important high blood pressure. 2 of them could be combined into generic Lotrel (amlodipine and benazepril) & so you could be on 2 instead of 3 medicines.
