I have really bad mono. My urine is like orangish/yellowish but then goes back to a yellow. I haven't gotten my period what could it be?

Shouldn't be..: Although urine seems to come out of the vaginal area, the urinary system is separated from your reproductive system. Missing your cycle should not affect your urination, but the amount of fluid/water you consume does. Often, when ill, you are advised to increase fluid etc..Thus increases urination. Liver problems: Please call your doctor right away-I'm concerned that the virus may have affected your liver, which would account for the itching and dark urine. I wonder if your eyes look a little yellow (when you pull down the eye lid)? If so, you could have viral hepatitis from EBV.
