Infection? STD?: Sounds like you didn't have a yeast infection, or yeast plus something else. Vaginal yeast infections usually cause scant white discharge, or none at all; the main symptom is itching and irritation, not discharge. Possibly: I'm not completely familiar with these products, but I assume Monistat 7 is used for 7 days and Monistat 3 is used for 3 days. I don't know if the quantity of each dose is the same for both or if the strength of the active ingredient is the same.
