Not HIV, but...: Negative HIV test results overrule all other considerations. If done long enough after your last possible exposure (4-12 weeks, depending on exact test), the negative result proves you don't have HIV. However, this is an unusual infection if immunity normal, and it is correct to be concerned about some sort of immune deficiency. Take 20mg Lexapro a day. RX'd Diflucan 100mg 1x a day for 21 days for monilial esophagitis. Very worried because of QT interaction. What should I do?
Medication effects: I understand your distress. Using Lexapro with Diflucan can increase the risk of an irregular heart rhythm. You may be more susceptible due to congenital long QT syndrome, other cardiac diseases, conduction abnormalities. Had biopsies taken for possible monilial esophagitis. Flucanazole is usual treatment. It interferes badly with my lexapro and Valium. Other options?
