I have a mole that has been slowly getting larger over the last 6 years. It formed a color on top. What will happen if untreated?
May be precursor: Lesions that grow, change is shape, size, color, or get irregular borders are at risk for being cancerous. I picked in a mole 4 years ago it came back exact size and shape and color is there any need to be worried ?
It better!!: And if it doesn't, get it checked-out. Give it two weeks. A dermatologist would be your best bet, but your regular doctor could at least give you a good first opinion. Any mole that won't heal after being scratched, or grows in size, or has different colors in it or has rough edges you can feel is a cause for concern So is one that talks to you at night, but that would be a separate problem. ...Read more
