Often it is already infected prior to extraction that can lead to a systemic bacteremia. This is been blamed for plaque deposits in arteries. I was wondering is it okay to ride my bicycle for 40 kilometers 5 days after a single upper molar tooth extraction?
Yes: If you are healing uneventfully and if you are healthy, then by the third day after extraction you should be living life normally.
Not always: Molar tooth extraction can be simple with no surgery involved in many cases. Sometimes if a tooth is badly broken, or has had a root canal treatment in past that tooth may not come out easily and will need surgery. Also most unerupted and impacted third molars will need surgery to extract.See 4 more doctor answers
I had a left molar tooth extraction 3 days ago and now my tooth right next to it is very sensitive to touch with a toothbrush. Is this normal?
No, but common: While sensitivity is not normal, it is a common occurrence. It may be related to the adjacent tooth temporarily having no gum covering the root surface. As the extraction site heals, the sensitivity usually subsides. It may also be related to local inflammation. If it does not get better, have your dentist take a look to make sure no other treatment is necessary.See 3 more doctor answers

Post op: You should call the dentist who extracted the tooth to have that area re-evaluated to make sure everything is healing properly and there are no other problems with adjacent teeth. This is something that cannot be done over the internet.

I had upper left 3rd molar teeth extraction 37 hours ago and upper right 3rd molar teeth extraction 1 month ago can I eat Hamburgers or KFC?
Yes: As long as you are careful not to irritate the extraction site, you will be fine. Try to avoid anything with seeds (sesame seed bun) so that they don't get stuck in the healing socket. Otherwise if you can eat it comfortably go for it. Most important after extractions is to avoid alcohol and tobacco use!
Asymmetry: If you have a soft tissue contour problem because of missing teeth, the teeth should be replaced by your Dentist or a Prosthodontist. If the asymmetry is because of a major malocclusion, see an Orthodotic Specialist. If asymmetry caused by skeletal imbalance the services of an Oral Surgeon will be required. Correction may be best provided by all three working as a team.See 2 more doctor answers
