Modafinil Vs Vyvanse
I was switched from Vyvanse to Modafinil for my narcolepsy, it's been 2 weeks and the fatigue is present still and it doesn't seem to work as well.

Drug Screen: Metabolites of all drugs and medications you take may show up on a drug screen. If you inform the lab and show your prescriptions when providing urine for the test, you should be fine. I have been using (self prescribed) modafinil for 6 years at 200/400mg daily. What are the potential long term side effects?
More important, why?: There are no known statistical long term fx, but there are reports of precipitation of mania in isolated cases. The bigger? Is why are you using it? To stay awake? To improve attention? Cognitive enhancement? Antidepressant? As it is a controlled substance, you could be in legal trouble if discovered. See a shrink, and get a prescription if it is appropriate.
