How can you miss a period have a negative pregnancy test then concieve few days later and be pregnant?
2 ships crossing...: It sounds like you were juuust pregnant - like maybe a few days - when you took the first pregnancy test; and then later, your pregnancy progressed enough to be detectable by the test. It isn't that you weren't pregnant. It was that you weren't pregnant enough for the test to see it yet. ...Read more

On yasmin (drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol). Never miss a pill. Had sex on 5th day of pack. Now on 6th day of placebo pills and no period. Negative pregnancy test. Chances???
Mild cramps no period. Didn't have penetrative sex. Was on Dr. Steroid. Negative pregnancy test 3 days late. Is it ok to assume not pregnant? Why miss?
If you did the test correctly and it was negative at three days after missed period, you are unlikely to be pregnant. It would be prudent to repeat the test 4-5 days later unless you get a period by then. Use first morning urine and follow the instructions for the test carefully.
If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time. You may consider implanted contraceptive, or IUD.

On pill, missed period, had a negative pregnancy test that week and another negative test the following week with slight bloody discharge when wiping?
Missed Periods: You can still be pregnant even being on the pill and with negative urine pregnancy tests. So if you are sexually active and still haven't gotten a full period I would advise getting a blood pregnancy test. The spotting may not be your period but the implantation of the baby. ...Read more
