Missed period after an always regular cycle, negative preg test, pain on right side of abdomen, diarrhea. What could it be?

Missed period after an always regular cycle, negative preg test, pain on right side of abdomen, diarrhea. What could it be?

Most likely, normal: My own take on this is that, particularly with heavy menses and/or irregular cycles , there is notable amount of retrograde menstrual flow (back flow of menstrual effluent) through the fallopian tubes into the abdominal cavity. This could serve to irritate the peritoneal lining (eliciting pain, bloating, etc..) as well as nearby bowel; leading to some of the possible GI symptoms described. ...Read more

Missed period jan 21 brown spotting feb 4 for 3 days diarrhea and cold last week. Had unprotected sex jan 8th. Took test but negative. Test too early?

Tested in February?: Sometimes, it can be hard to tell if a woman is pregnant because some of the symptoms seen in early pregnancy can also happen in non-pregnant women. A urine pregnancy test gives a reliable result if done correctly. One can test about 3 weeks after sex (when conception might have occurred), or 1 week after missing a period. An ob-gyn doctor can evaluate any persistent or worrisome symptoms. ...Read more

I have had hot flashes, stomach pain, diarrhea, and headaches off/on for about 3 days. Am i pregnant? I haven't missed a period yet.

Possible: If you had unprotected sex, you could be pregnant. Why not take a hpt if symptoms don't clear up in a few days. You may just have a virus. Hope you feel better soon. ...Read more

Hi,i have slight diarrhea, back pain and a bit of cramping.. Missed my period for 2-3 days did test twice bfre & after but negative.. Am i not pregnan?

Maybe not pregnant: Home pregnancy tests are very accurate and not affected by foods, herbs, common illnesses, sexually transmitted diseases, or medications. If done sooner, a positive result is likely real, but a negative result may be due to testing too soon. ...Read more

3.Pelvicalyceal fullness 4.Abdominal pain, diarrhea 5. Missed, heavy period. What kind of specialist do u prefer?

Gyn or ID: Given you have PID - pelvic inflammatory disease, I think that's where the focus should be. A gyn doctor should be well suited to help you out. Sometimes other doctors need to get involved to form a 'team' and the 2nd doctor on that team would probably best be an ID doctor. Hope things improve soon. ...Read more
