Miscarriage When To Go To Hospital
Miscarriage: Not necessarily. You need to see your OB to get a Rhogam shot if you are Rh negative. Also you may not have completely miscarried and your OB may evaluate you further to determine that with an exam or ultrasound. Call your OB's office and ask to be sure. ...Read more

Hospital confirmed miscarriage it's been 2 weeks since it happen and I still gettin postive htp shouldn't the levels been gone when I miscarried it was very low?
Usually 90% of women will test negative by 2 weeks. However, some continue to test positive. Repeat the test in 1 week and if your still spotting/test positive, see GYN. They can do an ultrasound and blood test to assess the actual hormone level. I'm sorry you have to go to through this and I can imagine how difficult it must be.

You need to see an: Ob doc or go to er if u do not have one because you must have an ultrasound to make sure u have no retained products of conception because if you do the poc have to be removed either by taking meds or a d;c and u need to know your blood type because if u are rh- then u must get a shot of Rhogam so u don't get rh sensitization and if u don't know your blood type that needs to be done. ...Read more
My period was a month/month and a half late, I'm almost positive I miscarried. If I go to the hospital can they be sure It was that?
I'm rh negative. I had a threatened miscarriage at 6wks and I'm 21wks now. I was never given the shot. Should I go to the hospital and request it?
No, Rhogam is most effective within 72 hours of an event where an RH- mother's blood may come into contact with RH+ fetal blood. This late it would have no effect.
If it's known for sure that the baby's father is RH- also, then Rhogam could be withheld because it is not possible for 2 RH- parents to have an RH+ baby, so there would be no chance of sensitization to RH+ blood. ...Read more

The hospital said I miscarried and my hcg level was 0-25 but I just took another clean blue test and its saying I'm 2-3 weeks could the dr be wrong?
Talk to doctor: Ms. Kathryn 440: You have two related questions. It would be better to talk to your doctor for explanation. Blood HCG needs to be higher than 25 to diagnose pregnancy. It is not clear how a urine pregnancy test told you that you are 2-3 weeks pregnant. You may repeat the urine pregnancy test, be sure to follow the instructions for the test carefully. Better would be to see your doctor for a repeat blood test and if needed an ultrasound examination. ...Read more

Big life decisions: Are you happy when you are lied to? Do keep that in mind if you lie to your doctor or to other people. In the US, we are a free people living in a free society, which means there is no reason to lie about pregnancy or abortion. Plan life so that unexpected pregnancies do not happen. But if they do, a couple can decide with the doctor whether or not to get rid of their baby fetus, but be honest. ...Read more

Yesterday I had an spontaneous miscarriage and now I feel dizzy and I been bleeding a lot is it normal? Should I be worry and go to the hospital?
Dizzy and bleeding: Although bleeding is expected after a miscarriage, too much blood loss can be dangerous. Should I be worried or go to a hospital? I'm ten weeks pregnant and having pain in my upper stomach. I have a history of miscarriage and have been put on prenatal plus.
Hello.: Hello. Whether you are pregnant or not, if you develop severe abdominal pain, that should be evaluated. However, it is not being described as severe pain. Upper abdominal pain isn't particularly characteristic for a miscarriage. I recommend that you give your obstetrician's office a call this morning and advise of the symptoms. They will likely ask you some additional questions before determining if you should come in to be examined or not. Take care. ...Read more
I have bicournuate uterus dr last 8 week pregnant miscarriage with heavy blood clots after we go to cheke hospital dr I have lupus anticlment please ans?
Cause of miscarriage: Most miscarriages are caused by genetic abnormalities in the fetus and are unavoidable. In your case, it is possible that the bicornuate uterus may have caused it, though many women with this abnormality can carry a pregnancy to term. Lupus anticoagulant can cause miscarriages but it fairly unusual this early on. Unless there are other medical indications, there is no reason to test with one loss. ...Read more
