Progesterone and hCG levels early pregnancy after ivf?

Progesterone and hCG levels early pregnancy after ivf?

Ok: Most ivf clinics only measure HCG levels approximately 9 days after a day 5 embryo transfer. However, some clinics feel that the combination of HCG levels and Progesterone levels have a more predictive value of a good pregnancy than HCG levels alone. Personally, we only measure hcg. Hope this helps and good luck. ...Read more

Looks like you are: Miscarrying. Unfortunately I have no idea how many weeks you are, and I also don't know if there was ever an ultrasound done to confirm an intrauterine embryo, and whether or not fetal heart tones were detected. 10weeks pregnant but sono and recorded 7weeks and no fetal heartbeat and its motionless also hCG hormone level dropped can it be a miscarriage?

Yes: I'm sorry, but miscarriage sounds like a strong possibility if the size of the embryo is smaller than how far along you think you are, and also if there's no heartbeat. There almost always is an easily identifiable heartbeat by 7 weeks gestation. I could be wrong, but be prepared for the possibility that i'm correct. ...Read more

Hcg level went up after 3 weeks of miscarriage?

Possible Pregnancy: Whatever clots or specimen you had when you had the miscarriage should have been examined by the pathologist to determine the presence of embryonic or fetal parts because otherwise the HCG elevation means you still have the conceptus/embryonic/fetal parts inside you. Other possibility is a growing tumor that is secreting hcg. ...Read more
