See ophthalmologist: There are a number of conditions that can cause tearing, eye pain and photophobia. One of the more serious of these conditions is a corneal abrasion. Another is an infection of the cornea. While the cause of your symptoms may not be one of the above it's important to see an ophthalmologist as soon as possible for a proper diagnosis and treatment. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Optic neuritis: You need to see an ophthalmologist asap. The biggest concern in a woman your age would be optic neuritis. This would explain your symptoms best. Poked in the eye quite hard, double vision when looking up, eyelid is drooped, vision is "improved" (was myopic, now dist. vision clearer), headache?
Sev.Vision changes, noticeable signs are black spots under eyes, tired eyes, have to strain to close one eye, if not strain results in eyelid twitching
Can wearing an eye patch, closing one eye, improve vision and minor eye lag/lazy eye in other eye? How much training would it take to improve
Possibly: If you had patching when you were an infant and a young child, then your eyes (each alone) may have reached their best potential vision by age eight. The vision can then drop in one of the eyes and be brought up to its best 8 year old level when you are older. If the vision was poor by age eight, then you are out of luck. ...Read more

If the process has gone on too long, the brain ignores the fix & surgery is simply cosmetic. ...Read more
I have a lazy eye, lenses fix the alignment to an extent, but when looking sideways, the lazy eye is visible. Could custom lenses fix this?
Small white bumps under (r) eye, serious pain whole (r) eye. Scratched open now have mucus and blurry vision? Zaditor (ketotifen) ok? Soft contact wearer
Depends: There might be some improvement if you are hyperopic (need + (plus) lenses) in which case correction with the proper glasses or contacts could move the drifting eye outwards to match the other eye better. If you do not need glasses or need - (minus) lenses, this will not work. Check with your ophthalmologist to see if you are a candidate. ...Read more

Fatigue, memory loss, tired eyes (hard to focus), speech, and a dropy eye lid. Are these signs of mild sleep apnea or something else?
Really mild double vision that i tend to only notice on PC monitors. Eyes feel tired even after sleep. Vision seems a bit worse. eye md said its fine.
Convergence defect: This is probably something called convergence insufficiency. When we look at near targets our eyes need to move together or converge. Some people develop a weakness in this mechanism. Problem can be solved either with eye exercises to increase convergence or prism glasses. ...Read more
