Troublesome!: Rls is very troublesome. All the meds we use show tolerance over time. You can google the laundry list of meds we use (sinemet, klonopin, neurontin, mirapex, (pramipexole) etc.) but your best bet is to sit down with a sleep specialist in your area. He/she can guide next med selection. Btw, occasionally 400 mg of magnesium helps before bedtime. Cheap, too. Best of luck! ...Read more

PD MEDS & HTN: There is no evidence in the medical literature that Mirapex, Azilect (rasagiline) and Amantadine will increase the blood pressure however if the Parkinson's patient has orthostatic hypotension dopamine agonist such as Mirapex can worsen it.
