I'm constipated I've drank 64oz. Of gatorade w/ 51grams of miralax (polyethylene glycol) over 4hrs. I've only went a small amount still painful last bm was 8/16. Blockage?
I am having issues with constipation cause by medicine Topomax 100mg and Neurotryptaline 10mg. May I use miralax twice in one day?

I have constipation after hysterectomy 45 days ago. If double doses of miralax or laxatives work for bowels could I still have a partial obstruction.
Unlikely: It is very unlikely to have Partial Intestinal Obstruction after Hysterectomy.And also you are moving your bowels. You can slowly cut down the dose of your laxatives and try to move your bowels on your own. But if you still need the laxatives daily consult your doctor. Constipation: Miralax may be more palatable if mixed in with fruit juice such as apple or white grape juice. If she will not take miralax mixed in juice, pediatric fleet's enema or glycerin suppositories are the alternatives.
