2 x day: If you grow hair with rogaine (minoxidil) and stop using it, you will lose the hair you grew with the product. This is one way to know if the rogaine (minoxidil) actually helped or if your hair loss would stabilize on its own. You could perhaps try 1 x daily, but you need to keep using it. ...Read more

Not really: Applying more Rogaine (minoxidil) on at one sessions not as effective as twice a day treatment. However you don't have to wash your hair twice. Rogaine works on the scalp. Careful application can be made without having to lather it all up in your hair. ...Read more

5% Minoxidil gives me mild to moderate chest pains and some arm tingling. Would it be recommended to work up to a full dose, try 2% or cease usage?

5% Minoxidil gives me mild to moderate chest pains and some arm tingling. Would it be recommended to work up to a full dose, try 2% or cease usage?

The Sun Also Rises: That stuff gives you vellus hair, that's fine and soft and doesn't look anything like regular adult hair.As far as I'm concerned it's a waste of time. Not everyone thinks that, however. But in your case trading vellus hair for chest pains and arm tingling (if truly associated) is a losing wager.I'd rather bet that the sun will rise in the West tomorrow.Get a proper exam by a qualified doc for this. ...Read more

Hair loss: Finax is a brand of Cefuroxime in some countries & a brand of Finasteride in others. Given that you're asking about it's use for hair loss, i suspect that you're asking about Finasteride which is used in states to either shrink prostate or reduce hair loss.
