If its crushed or your vessels are stretched/pulled out and amputated from the injury, very few would try to salvage that and simply complete the amputation. CTS/ other Dx: It doesn't sound like fibromyalgia from your description. Fibromyalgia is a diagnosis of exclusion. You may need nerve conduction velocity/electromyogram studies to rule out peripheral neuropathy and imaging like an xray for a start and labwork.
