Possible yeast: If you were treated with an antibiotic for the UTI, the most likely cause of a white vaginal discharge is a fungal overgrowth in the vaginal canal. The should respond to one of the OTC anti fungal vaginal creams used for a week, such as gyne-lotrimin. If the problem persists, see your family physician or gynecologist. ...Read more

Bacterial vaginosis?: This probabl isn't normal. The most common cause of increased vaginal discharge with strong odor (often "fishy") is bacterial vaginosis, and "milky" discharge also is typical. BV is an overgrowth of mostly normal bacteria. Trichomonas, an STD, can cause the same symptoms. In any case, this should be easy to diagnose and treat; see your doctor. Good luck! ...Read more
