I have lower abdominal pain with intestinal spasms. Negative pregnancy test, had a CT of the abdomen done. Would the scan show a pregnancy?

CT scan: To answer your question, yes, a CT scan would show a pregnancy if it were large enough. However, if you had a pregnancy test done at the hospital, and it was negative, then you are not pregnant. The hospital would not even do a CT scan if they suspected you might be pregnant. There must be an alternative explanation for your symptoms. You should speak with your doctor about your results.Good luck. ...Read more

Take a test...: If your period is 11 days late and you are sexually active, I recom mend taking a pregnancy test. No matter how you analyze the details of "possibility", the answer won't come until you either get your period or take the test. Good luck. Either way, may want to make an appointment to see your GYN - if nothing else to discuss your irregular cycles and need for reliable birth control (+condoms) ...Read more
