I've had a mild itching all over my body. First one place then another. I've recently started taking Biotin in the morning & B12 in the evening. Could?
Stop taking: If you suspect that either Biotin or B12 might have caused the itching, you need to stop taking them for at least a week to see if that makes a difference. See dermatologist: If the itching is so bothersome, you should consult a dermatologist since dry skin is apparently not the issue. Generalized itch: Step one, stop all medications and suppliments (ask your md before stopping any prescription meds) step two: stop all chemical exposures to topical lotions ; creams, and get a new non-fragranced body soap and change to an unfragranced detergent (all-free etc.) avoid dryer sheets of softeners as well. Try a few things: Take a quick shower, then apply a topical moisturizer lotion (lightly to everywhere that is itchy). This may resolve the issue, which then was likely dry skin.
