Should i worry if i had mild dry cough for past month , xray show normal no chest pain. I cough like 4 to 5 times a day. Why could it be ?

Possibilities....: Possible etiologies of this cough include bronchospasm from any cause, gerd, post-nasal drip or a combination of factors. These all have entirely different treatments so you need to see a doctor for diagnosis/treatment. A lung doctor could definitely treat this cough so you may need to be referred to a lung specialist. ...Read more

I've had a mild dry cough for 5 weeks and mild chest pain. X-ray came back normal. I was exposed to concrete dust five weeks ago for 1 minute. silicos

My chest feels congested like when I have bronchitis. Also I have mild dry cough but I suffer from anxiety and I'm panicking. should I go to the ER?

Hyperventilation: Try breathing into small brown paper bag first (cover nose and mouth with it and seal with hands). If after doing this for several minutes you feel the breathing is more well-controlled but you still feel short of breath then go to the ER or urgent care. If you have no other symptoms of illness it is unlikely to be bronchitis (possibly asthma if you're prone to that). See doctor for anxiety. ...Read more
