Diarrhea???: You forgot the main symptom of enter overall infection---- ie GI symptoms. Anyway, testing for it will not change course of action and management. Sounds like some sort of viral infection ( even if not enterovirus!). All viral illnesses run 7-10 day course--- with or without treatment. Just keep yourself well hydrated. ...Read more

Viral syndrome?: This sounds like a viral syndrome, but it could of course be something more serious like angina-equivalent as well. I would have my primary care physician check me out first and obtain a chest x-ray and an ekg. ...Read more

Virus: It appears that your virus is working its way down to the throat and later the trachea(windpipe). This is not unusual for the flu and you're still in the viral stage. I would sit tight for now with tylenol (acetaminophen) unless there is worsening fever, shaking chills and heavy cough which could indicate a bacterial infection and probable need for an exam and antibiotics. ...Read more
