Wine should be okay: The bigger issue is the diagnosis. Most back pain in young people is muscular. However it is good you are aware other organ systems can produce back pain. Thus before we tell you to have a wine which you have to be careful w/given the Asprin you take, see a primary care or sports MD who can evaluate you with a good exam and likely refer you to PT presuming tests including an MRI and EMG are normal. ...Read more

I had a mild lower back pain for 2 months. The lower vertebrae is sore to touch. Saw an osteo before which provided temp relief. How to fix?

LBP is a common sym-: ptom and many have it. If its mild & not improving, I would start by being active with walking, swimming..... not only to be fit and have strong muscles, but losing weight (if overweight). If pain in back is the only symptom, then this will improve with time. However if its getting worse and is associated with leg pain & weakness, then MRI and seeing a Spine surgeon would be necessary. Good Luck. ...Read more

You need a doctor: These symptoms strongly suggest a need for a visit to a good diagnostician. Put together a written list of each and every symptom, the things with which they are associated, the times they occur, your temperatures and pulse and respirations when they occur and take these with you and expect a thorough and detailed exam and some testing which may include imaging studies. Good luck. ...Read more

How come i get lower back pain after drinking alcohol?

Otherwise, your "back" pain may actually be related to inflammation internally—abdominal contents/organs that may be the true source of symptoms. I think this is more likely. ...Read more
