I had carpal tunnel surgery 5 days ago. I still have intermittent pain and constant numbness of pointer and middle finger the numbness severe. Normal?

Possibly

Carpal_tunnel_syndrome
intermittent pain after surgery is not uncommon for the first few weeks... the numbess is not normal if you didn't have the numbness prior to you surgery... if the numbness was present before surgery then your current symptoms may be the nerve recovering and will probably resolve..

Finger_pain
Topical capsaicin may be helpful for some, while others may benefit with oral medication such as Pregabalin (Lyrica), amitriptyline (Elavil), duloxetine (Cymbalta), gabapentin (Neurontin), carbamazepine (Tegretol), or valproate (Depakote) to reduce the painful symptoms in the feet due to neuropathy. Watch you sugar intake, and have your Vitamin B levels checked and supplemented as necessary.

left middle and index finger numbness. MRI reveals cervical spondylysis with c6-7 leftparacentral foraminal disc extrusion compressing c7 nerve ?

"Pinched Nerve"

Fingers
This sounds like a nerve root impingement by disc spurring in your neck. LIke treatments will include non-steroidal oral medication, physical therapy with traction, possible steroid epidural injections and then possible cervical fusion surgery. Many of these pinched nerves resolve with time as the nerve gets "used to" the stress and inflammation around the nerve decreases.

Ulnar

Description suggests a localized problem from the ulnar nerve, perhaps at wrist or elbow (more likely). An EMG test might well localize and diagnose. See your doctor and get started.

I have numbness in my left middle finger tip?

Finger Tip Numbness

Extremity-upper-fingers
Carpal tunnel syndrome, often linked to extensive typing on a keyboard, is a common condition associated with finger numbness. The carpal tunnel is a tube-like structure located along the palm side of the wrist. The tube holds and protects the main nerve leading to the hand and the associated tendons. Pressure placed on the nerve produces symptoms, such as finger numbness.

Numbness in my finger tip middle finger on left hand?

Carpal tunnel

Open-uri20130401-25869-14c04bs
You may have Carpal tunnel syndrome, characterized by hand pain and recurrent numbness or "pins and needle" sensations in the thumb, index, middle finger and the lateral aspect of the ring finger. It may be triggered by use (driving, keyboard use). Wearing a wrist cock- up splint is very effective. Surgery reserved for severe cases. Check with your physician if symptoms persist or worsen.
