What tests could be done to diagnose mid/upper back pain, along spine and muscles. Cause headaches and daily severe pain. Feels like a hole in spine.

Don't know : By telling your doctor your age and length of time symptoms are present will help you get a much better opinion. Not enough information here; could be benign, could be serious.
