See an OB/GYN: This sounds like you need an exam and to make sure you have not become anemic from bleeding. Go and see someone.
I'm having semi heavy mid cycle bleeding with light cramping....I am not pregnant. Should I be concerned?
Treatment options: The cause of the heavy periods is not something we can always answer. There are lots of treatment options you can discuss with your doctor. Lysteda is a nonhormone medication designed for heavy periods. Some benefit from birth control pills, patch or nuvaring. Mirena (levonorgestrel) iud can stop your period in some cases. Consider an endometrial ablation if you are done having children.
For the first time, I've been having medium to heavy mid-cycle bleeding for 10 days now with cramps. I'm sexually active. What could it be?
See doctor ASAP: Any unexplained vaginal bleeding needs professional evaluation. There are several potential causes, including endocrine (hormone) problems, uterine or cervical diseases like pre-cancer, STDs, and pregnancy, maybe with impending miscarriage. All are more or less likely depending on sexual lifestyle and partnerships, contraceptive method, and so on. See a doctor (preferably gyn) ASAP. Good luck.
I ovulated 25-30 oct, 31 had brown discharge w cramping, period doesn't start until 13 nov. Is this mid cycle bleeding? This has never hpd.
Old blood: Most of the time, brown spotting or bleeding represents older blood that the uterus, cervix or upper vagina had been "holding onto" for various reasons. W/ the cramping I would guess uterus as the source. It very well may be midcycle bleeding due to ovulation or other ovulatory abnormalities. I don't see a birth control method; sometimes that causes unscheduled bleeds. If continues, have an exam done.

Unlikely: Your menstrual cycles are fairly regular, but can vary by up to a week occasionally, mostly when you are very young or perimenopausal. Your age would suggest you are neither of these. I think this is spotting, and if it's light and goes away, this perfectly normal. If you are concerned, see an OB for an exam and more specific answersSee 1 more doctor answer
I have never had mid cycle bleeding or spotting. However starting yesterday (cycle day 17 and today cycle day 18) I had very light pink spotting. There's no cramps or any feeling like with a normal menstrual cycle. Just feels like a little pinch once in
It happens sometimes: Many women have occasional variation of their mucus discharge, some spotting between periods, a heavier period, a lighter period, a longer or shorter period, or even a missed period. Having one or two of these symptoms doesn’t necessarily mean there is a medical problem, but a visit to one’s primary care or Ob-Gyn doctor is a good idea if symptoms are persistent, recurring, or worrisome.
Consider STD: If you have been sexually active without protection (i.e. condom) then you could have a sexually transmitted disease (STD). Most health departments will provide confidential screening for STD without cost to the patient.
Mid cycle bleeding starts off pink when wipe then goes red with clots then changes back with cramps and prolonged periods. History of fibroids?
See GYN...: Depends upon what is causing the bleeding; "normal" menses cycle; or dysfunctional uterine bleeding? Hard to comment without knowing at least your age (which women do not like to reveal :) and without having examined you. Better for you to have your existing gyn examine you and then take it from there.See 1 more doctor answer
Mettleschmertz: This can sometimes occur in mid cycle as a result of ovulation. It is called mettleschmertz...Or "middle pain". It should be very, very limited bleeding and pain you do well to note this and keep track of this. I would advise your family doc of this if this gets worse or changes, you need to see your ob/gyn physician. And, as always, regular check-ups are advised..See 1 more doctor answer
Yes, but: You're probably not ovulating, and if you don't produce an egg, there can be no fertilization. See your gyn to get to the bottom of this.
Go see your GYN and: Get checked for hormonal imbalance or it could be a side effect of your herbal meds. Take care!
Was early period?: Mid cycle bleeding for 9 days is unusual, Your period may be affected next time and may need to see a gynae physician
Mid cycle Bleeding: No bleeding like that is never normal. There are several potential causes the worst being some type of tumor. Please see your doctor soon for an examination, ultrasound and further testing based on those results.
I had mid-cycle bleeding that lasted a week and was brown, now I am one week late for my period. What is going on?
Irregular periods: Irregular periods are one of the most common problems obgyns treat. If this is one time problem it usually resolves on its own. If this is a recurring problem you should be evaluated. Infections ; hormonal changes can cause spotting. If there is a concern for pregnancy then do a home pregnancy test. There are many options available to help regulate the menstrual cycle. Schedule a visit.
I had a smear test 3 y ago and everything was normal. Now I have mid cycle bleeding for 1st time. Can it be last stage cancer? Thank you
Not likely: If your pap was normal three years ago, it is very unlikely that you have advanced cancer. However, it is time to see your doctor for a repeat pap and discuss the mid-cycle bleeding so that s/he may do an evaluation.
Had mid cycle bleeding/spotting 10 days before actual due P. Lasted 5 days. Why? And will I still get my scheduled period in a few days?
Mid-cycle bleed: It's not possible to tell why you had mid-cycle bleeding from the information posted. Also impossible to say whether the next period will come when expected. If having sex, first make sure you're not pregnant by running a home urine pregnancy test. If negative, repeat in 7 days. If both negative, it's ok to watch if the cycle gets back to normal next month. If not, seek care to figure out cause.
