My 12 year old son is having lower abdominal pain on the right and left side as well as low-mid back pain. What could be the problem? He is in pain, no fever, he has had regular bowel movements.

These : These symptoms could be a sign of a urinary tract or kidney infection. Appendicitis is also a concern but less likely. Regardless, he needs to be evaluated by his pediatrician right away.
