Rash dx and rx: You had a rash. What was the cause and the appropriate treatment? Eczema is usually treated with moisturizers and topical steroids. The rash can be infected with surface bacteria (usually S. Aureus) and is red with topical antibiotic. If you have inflamed hair follicles you have folliculitis. Scabies can be rxed with Ivermectin though it is usually given orally. ...Read more
Suggests contamination with urogenital or skin flora.
>100,000 CFU/ml Lactobacillus species.
20,000 CFU/ml mixed gram positive flora.
What's it mean?
Means contaminated: Urine specimen from the surrounding area around urethra (opening where the urine comes out from). You may want to repeat the test , if your doctor still wants that, get a clean catch specimen, which entails cleansing the area first, passing some urine, then obtain a midstream urine sample, follow the lab instructions for that, best wishes ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

This doesn't tell: There is nothing here to say "yes", but this doesn't rule most stuff out. You may have hpv / human papillomavirus, sypilis, chlamydia, hiv, hepatitis, crabs, herpes gonorrhea or trichomonas that is not active, the pap smear isn't about ruling these in or out; it is primarily a search for malignant / premalignant cells. I'm sorry if there was some confusion. Best wishes. ...Read more
Psmear result, pus cell 6-8, epithelial cell ++, gram +vecocci++@+vebacili+, gram-vecocci, -vebacili nil, fungal hype@trichomonas nil, do ihve to wory?
No worry : The primary purpose of pap smear is to detect cancer or pre-cancerous changes of the cervix. Nothing in your report suggests that. Gram positive and gram negative bacteria along with some fungus, epithelial cells, and leukocytes are all normal inhabitants of the vaginal flora. The presence of trichomonas (std) or hpv (std linked to cancer of cervix) would be abnormalities requiring treatment. ...Read more
What are some common genera of pathogenic bacteria that have no species found in the human body naturally? Borrelia? Brucella? Yersinia? Mycoplasma?
The Microbiome... : Great thought question. However, you are assuming we know all the community of species of bacteria in the body (aka. The microbiome). Recently, we have discovered thousands of genera in our body through molecular techniques (most don't even have a name yet). Though it's tempting to generalize, the question you pose can't be answered with any reliability with what we know today. ...Read more
CULT FUNGI Result
1 Colony Sterile mold, does not produce conidia necessary for identification.
1 Colony Yeast not Cryptococcus neoformans.Explain ?
Petri dish jargon: This is the microbiologist's report on two single colonies of different fungi. One is a yeast form and one is a mould. Neither can be identified as to what 'species' it is, but it doesn't matter since these are what we call 'contaminants'. I suspect this was a 'sputum' sample? This occurs quite commonly in those specimens. If you're not feeling well, good to see the doc who ordered the test. ...Read more

Discovery not needed: The basic sex acts were never "discovered"; people in all societies and cultures have figured them out independently.
