Urine WBC Esterase 2+ Protein Trace Occult Blood 3+ WBC>30 RBC11-30 Epithelial Cells non renal>10 mucus pres Bacteria few.Have MGUS,Lymphs always high?
R/O UTI: If you have symptoms I would recommend empiric treatment with macrobid pending urine culture and sensitivity . Given underlying MGUS and weakened immune system. Follow up with your doctor for exam and lab testing. Also renal ultrasound/urology consult with cystoscopy may be needed. Increase fluids especially cranberry juice and coconut water ...Read more
Hematuria is the presence of blood in the urine. When you can see the blood, it's called gross hematuria. When the blood can only be seen under a microscope it is known as microscopic hematuria. Hematuria can be caused by kidney stones, kidney infections, urinary tract infections, an enlarged prostate, cancer, certain medications, and ...Read more
Have lupus. Moderate microscopic hematuria x months though NO RBC in urine, trace ketones in urine, otherwise normal UA. Total bilirubin 1.6. Thoughts?
Low MCH low MCHC low MPV low LYMPHOCYTES// in urine; 7.5 PH, microscopic ana. WBC 6-7 and RBC 0-1.. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME DOC..?please answer.tx
That's not possible: to answer without an exam, history, and other basic elements of a medical assessment. You do have a local doctor since these tests were requested. What does your doc say about these things and why they were checked? You have lab values, but there is no detail about how you are feeling. That's the most important part. Abnormal labs in isolation are usually meaningless. Ask your doctor ?s. ...Read more
bloodwork WBC high urine test Epithelial cell MANY Luek Esterase SMALL Blood Moderate had kidney stone and UTI this why wbc is high concern 20 yr old?
Pediatric cancer? low RBC, low WBC, low platelets, low IGM, high MCV, low neutrophils, low monocytes and low eosinophils, occasional myelocytes,
Tough set of labs: Suppression of multiple cell lines certainly is a concerning finding on a CBC. Yes, there are pediatric cancers that may present with this type of blood test results. Talking to your heme/onc specialist as soon as possible would be advisable! But don't jump to conclusions because a specialist with the "whole picture" may give you a very surprising answer! ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Should i worry high lymphocytes, monocytes/100 leukocytes, and platelet mean volume (38.5, 7.8, 10.6 respectv) and low neurtrophils/100 leukocytes 49?
Abnormal cell counts: Unfortunately, the numbers you present may be percentages & not total cell counts. When we interpret a CBC we look at total cell counts and the % of total whites made up of each cell line. These can vary w/infections, nutritional status, stress, medications, certain medical conditions..... Would be best to review the labs w/ your doc & get an educated interpretation based upon your presentation. ...Read more
Had blood and urinalysis 7/15. Blood work was all normal but urine showed creatinine level of 409, trace protein, trace leukocyte esterase, WBC, hyali?
Stop worrying: I understand you have fibromuscular dysplasia of the renal arteries and hope this can be addressed. The urine creatinine, trace protein and hyaline casts are non-issues, the trace of leukocyte esterase and white cells (unless very numerous or you have symptoms of infection) are likely contamination, and if your physician is not concerned, I would not be either. Best wishes. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Had urinalysis. Leukocyte+1 blood trace, rbc 1-5, wbc, 1-5, epithelial **, bacteria few, urine comment yeast. What does this all ,mean no symptoms.?
Significance? Urine- wbc>100/cmm; red blood cells:+++; no growth. Fbc (suggestive of infection)- neutrophil:7.3 10*9/l; mean platelet volume: 12.3fl
Lab data: These results are meaningless without a clinical history and exam results. Although you have micropyuria and hematuria cannot be sure of the significance without knowing the problems you are investigating and the manner in which the urine was collected. It would be helpful if you provided the remainder of the cbc, but not without expounding on reasons it was done. ...Read more

Reactive/ autoimmune: Discuss further with your hematologist. Certain conditions like iron deficiency , infection /inflammation vs autoimmune vs. Other solid tumor need to be ruled out. Occult blood 3+,protein 2+,rbc 20-40, wbc packed, leukocyte esterase 3+,bacteria few, squamous epithelial cells 6-10. All else Norm. What does this mean.
Probable UTI: "All else normal"?? What's left? That's most of the urinalysis. It strongly suggests you have a urinary tract infection. It could be an STD, if at risk, but less likely. Certain non-infectious kidney diseases could cause these things. But UTI is by far the best bet. Discuss with the doctor who ordered the test; probably you need an antibiotic prescription. ...Read more

Cbc: low WBC (3.39), low neutrophils (36%), high lymphs (57%). Also something called poikilocytosis and ovalocytes in blood. Is this concerning?
Probably not: Wbc is low and absolute neuts about 1000 (3.39 x 36%). If no infection or mouth sores i would not be too excited. Repeat labs. Could just be a passing viral infection or it could just be you. African americans and those of northern european ancestry often run a lowish wbc. Poik and oval is just some variation in rbc shape. ...Read more

Iron supplement: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, it is normal to have high WBC count in pregnancy. Low RBC count suggests anemia and you should take oral iron tablets. ...Read more
