Colonoscopy normal.Dr took 4 tissues from different areas to check for microscopic colitis. Should i afraid for anything else? Like cancer?
No: Any reputable gastroenterologist who does a thorough colonoscopy will be checking for signs of cancer during the procedure. Even if he is checking for colitis specifically, he would biopsy or note any other abnormalities he sees during the exam. A normal colonoscopy is a GOOD thing!
