What do you advise if i started taking micronor (norethindrone) and i've bled for three weeks and countingshould i try a new pill?

Had sex when ovul, used pull out method. 6 days later, took neg test started micronor (norethindrone) that day 1 wk before per, now late. Could i be preg?

Possible: This is pretty confusing, but it sounds unlikely you are pregnant. That doesn't mean impossible: pull-out method (bad method) + late period = could be pregnant. Testing 6 d.Po. Is way too early, but you can test 11-12 d.P.O. And get an answer. ...Read more

I am on norethindrone, for past 2 week having nasea and missed period, taken 5 pregnant tests- all negative. Is this a normal side effect?

Maybe, maybe not: Normally, women don't take 5 pregnancy tests in 2 weeks (once a week works better, because in early pregnancy, it takes a few more days after a negative test for the HCG level to get high enough to show up on a urine pregnancy test). The pills are hormone pills, and can cause nausea or menstrual changes even without pregnancy, too. One should call the prescribing doctor for the next step. ...Read more

Is micronor (norethindrone) effective full 24 hrs when taken on time? Or is 1 hr before taking pill not good time for sex?

OCP efficacy : As with all oral contraceptives (especially Progesterone only pills) it is important to take the pills at consistent time each day.
