Probably won't work: All the "azole" drugs (miconazole, tioconazole, terconazole, clotrimazole, fluconazole and others) have the same activity against candida and vaginal yeast infections, and some yeasts are resistant to all azoles. Probably not: All the "azole" drugs (miconazole, clotrimazole, terconazole, fluconazole, tioconazole, and others) have the same efficacy against yeast. Up to 5-10% of vaginal yeast infections are resistant to them. Speak with your doctor about alternate treatments, e.g. flucytosine, caspofungin, and a few others. You'll need a prescription.
