Lamisil/Hydrocortiso: Use Lamisil and apply to infected and normal skin 2 cm beyond affected area each day for a period of one month. The first week pair this with Hydrocortisone 1% daily. If this fails to resolve the problem then best to be seen to consider other causes. You may need an oral antifungal if the topical regimen fails and the lesion is determined to truly be ringworm. Maybe OK, but why?: The skin (non-vaginal) cream might work, but can't be guarantteed; I'm sure the manufacturer never studied it for vaginal yeast. And you'd need to use nearly an entire tube of skin cream for just 1-2 treatments. Clotrimazole vaginal cream is designed to be effective and generic versions often are cheap. Or consider a single oral dose of fluconazole (Diflucan®), which is just as effective. ...Read more
