I have been prescribed metronidazole and nitrofurantoin to take together. I also take a benedril a day for allergies. It it safe to combine these?
Diabetes. Pen allergy. Cycle of clindamycin post oral surgery. "Probably infected in spots." Prescribed another Clin cycle combo w/ metronidazole. OK?
Yes you can use Metrogel a few hours after intercourse, but then its advisable to abstain till therapy is completed (5 days course). Common side effect is burning and stinging.

Make sure u get: A culture that can check for many bacteria and there can be many that can cause BV up to 6 different ones and u could have other bacteria that can cause a discharge, and I rec pro-biotics to help prevent bv, and u want to avoid heat and humidity in that area meaning if u work out get into dry clothes asap even if u can't shower for a while and sometimes the bacteria can be resistant to the meds. ...Read more
