A variety of health benefits have been claimed and studied and has been touted as a natural source of "biologically active sulfur", a material readily available in any reasonable diet. Similar side effects: There are no known drug interactions between msm and prozac. However, some of the same side effects with msm may be present with Prozac including diarrhea, bloating, insomnia, headache and nausea. No way to tell : Unfortunately, dietary supplements are regulated as foods (as opposed to drugs). As such, they are not required to undergo the same testing (or prove their claims to be true). If one took more then daily needed amount of b complex vitamins ie by supplements , will there be any side effects, or will the excess just be stored?
Listen to your body: B vitamins are water soluble and not stored. Excess makes urine yellow. They do require activation in the liver and taking excessive doses of some of the b vitamins such as b-6 can cause problems. Some persons need methyl folate and methyl cobalamine and b vitamins that don' t contain these forms may not be metabolized normally.
