Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more
My friend wants to know is it ok to have anal sex during ectopic pregnancy treatment. Her levels are down to 2000 after 2nd dose of Methotrexate.
Most Unwise.: I dont know the specifics of how large her embryo is, but in general anything traumatic to the pelvis currently would be ill advised. If she can't have vaginal intercourse, I dont see why anal intercourse would be any differet. Methotrexate often also causes diarrhea as a side effect because it interferes with the normal gut lining and it's replacement. I'd suggest abstinence, or use of hands/toys ...Read more

This is done to make sure that Methotrexate worked to treat the ectopic pregnancy. Also since it has been 7 weeks are you sure that this is not a new pregnancy? It is possible that you are pregnant again. See an Obgyn for a BHCG blood test. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
