That is too short: a period for withdrawal. In general, long-term use of these medications requires a minimum of one month, and sometimes as much as 3 months (rarely more) to safely get off. There are medications, such as clonidine, which can help treat the post-acute withdrawal symptoms you are llkely feeling. Talk to your doctor, or ask for a second opinion regarding the weaning.
