My daughter has been on methadone for a few months due to severe back pain. She seems to have symptoms of ocd. Can it be related to the methadone or just coincidental?

Yes: The two medications should not cause any significant interactions. Methadone, when misused, however, can be fatal so make sure you are taking it as prescribes by a doctor experienced in prescribing it.
