Meth Use Not Able To Sleep
I've insomnia frm taking meth lastnight. I smoked 5 full lungs of smokes (ex/re-inhaled to/from a plastic bag till all absorbed). How can I sleep now?
A few suggestions: Don't take any pills or alcohol to sleep! Lie in a dark room, with a fan or some quiet music. (White noise). Make sure it's cool. It will take time for the chemical to work its way out of your system. The temptation now is to go and find another drug to counteract the Meth and the spiral goes on and on. Please try to stop using. It's a devastating and terribly addictive drug! ...Read more

If a person has sporadic fatal insomnia or fatal insomnia do they ever feel tired? Or are they not able to sleep?
Observations: People with this disorder become unable to sleep, yet they do feel tired. However, the more curious question is why you're so completely focused on this condition? You have asked (and we have answered) countless questions about it. Are you not curious about this also? It really seems obsessive. We hope the best for you. I am not able to sleep or get into deep sleep unless I'm very exhausted (eg after only sleeping 2hrs the night before) for 7 years. Is this insomnia?
Sleep hygeine: The most important thing is to maintain a scheduled time for going to bed, get enough exercise during the day, maintain a healthy diet, and not use alcohol or other drugs. If you are still unable to get sleep, there are many over the counter or prescription medications that may help. Most over the counter sleep aids contain Diphenhydramine (benadryl). ...Read more
Can you die from not sleeping? (insomnia?) or would you pass out before that happens? Haven't been able to sleep more than maybe an hour in days.
On 14 Days of amoxicilin for sinus. On day 7. Have had horrible insomnia for 2 nights now. Only able to sleep 3 hrs each night. Can it be related?
Insomnia: Insomnia would be an unlikely side effect of Amoxicillin and is more likely to be due to the illness itself. I would look for sensitivity (to amoxicillin) symptoms like a rash or itching which can cause insomnia. In the absence of other side effects from Amoxicillin, I would say that Amoxicillin is not the cause of insomnia. ...Read more

I took meth first time 3 days ago and finally I could sleep last night but I still have headache now. Should I be worried? What should I do?
Vow to do it no more: One use will not likely do lasting bodily harm and from how you feel, I'm thinking you don't look forward to doing it again. So, let that be a guide. Don't try it again. Consider it a learning experience. Stay well hydrated, catch up on your rest. Make social statements about your resolution and move on. If you suffer continued physical symptoms, see a doctor - but you should feel normal soon. ...Read more
Can you test positive for meth if you are in the house when it is cooked. Or sleep in or on furniture that has been subjected to several cooking times.
Probably not: Please try to get out of that situation. You're risking your career by perhaps being arrested as an accessory. Meth is a vile habit and those who make it are hurting others. If you're smart enough to have found HealthTap, you should be able to manage an escape. Don't be sad to leave people who may once have loved you -- meth destroys what's good in people. I'm sorry this is happening. ...Read more
I was a first timer taking meth 13 hr ago. Stayed awake through the night. It is 9:47 am now. Should I try to sleep or skip till 11pm to sleep better?
This experience is: Enough to make it your last time using meth, also, one hopes. You don't need to make swiss cheese of your brain, rot your teeth & ruin your skin. You shouldn't drive till all effects are gone & you've had 8 hours of sleep. Take a sick day & be safe. Your twitchiness will be noticeable to those who are " savvy". My nightmares have gotten so bad that I'm afraid to sleep. I'm using meth in order to stay awake&i want to die. Aren't some ppl2damaged to help?
Being a IV heroin addict I used methamphetimine to cure withdrawal symptoms. It worked but I don't get high off the meth. Able to eat and sleep. Why?
No clue: But I wish you were more concerned with dealing with your addictions than blocking withdrawal symptoms. I have treated MANY people who used both heroin and methamphetamine, and none of them said that amphetamine did anything beneficial for their withdrawal, so it may be just your particular biology. Most use speed to stay awake for the heroin high, or use heroin to take the edge off the speed. ...Read more

Don't use any other: Substances, including street drugs, OTC meds, or alcohol after a meth bender (unless a medication is specifically prescribed to you by an MD who is aware of your meth use, and still advises taking the med). I know you're probably feeling awful right now, but adding even OTC medications to the mix only increases medical risk, & won't make you feel better ; (Think about treatment for substance use. ...Read more

What are the most common effects on the brain, including mood disorders, sleep, etc in a person using crystal meth for 9 months?
Mood instability: Stop now before you create permanent changes, which can happen with chronic use. Abstinence often starts with both craving and a desire to sleep a lot. Once the fatigue is past, if it's only been 9 months, things should head back to normal. Expect some irritability at first. Just don't be tempted to treat that with meth! ...Read more
