How to get rid of this metallic taste in mouth during period?

Try this: A rinse of warm water with 1teaspoon of baking soda. Rinse for 30 seconds spit out, repeat. A change in the acidity of ones saliva may create a metallic taste in the mouth. If this is the cause of your metallic taste, then possibly neutralizing the acidity with baking soda may help.

Light weird period, doubting if im pregnant or not due to other stuff too, now have copper like metallic taste in mouth. Am I pregnant? Something else?

Hard to say: What you describe does not sound like a common finding with pregnancy. Much more information is needed as many things can affect one's period. But since you are worried the easiest thing is to check a home pregnancy test. The metallic taste is unusual. Some medication side effects can do that (old antibiotic called biaxin), and from some infections like hepatitis. Smoking can effect taste.

Could I be pregnant if I had sex a week ago n I came on my period a week later. And I have a metallic taste in my mouth?

Could I be pregnant if I had sex a week ago n I came on my period a week later. And I have a metallic taste in my mouth?

Not pregnant: Viable pregnancy stops vaginal bleeding. Having a period on time and as expected is pretty good evidence that one is not pregnant. Remember that you get pregnant during ovulation and ovulation happens well before one week prior to menstruation.

If in Doubt: If you are in doubt then do a pregnancy test. Sex does not change menstrual cycles. Sex when one is not ovulating does not cause pregnancy. If you do not believe us then do a pregnancy test for yourself.

Ended period on 10th, had sex 12th, have short cycle 25/26 days. Have had headaches/nausea for past 3 days & now metallic taste in mouth. Pregnant?

Back to School?: Remember what you learned about how babies are made in health class that it takes one to five days after sex for the pregnancy to be conceived and then it is fen to fourteen days after that for the fetus to be big enough to be sharing blood and chemicals with the mother's body? That any symptoms before the fetus is this big cannot possibly be related to pregnancy? Don't you remember this?

Probably it can: But there are no rules that you might not overlap your PMS time w/ another condition - mild or more - and mix symptoms. See if they pass once you begin. If they remain, it's another issue and you might see your Dr. Best!

Metallic taste in mouth feel weak nauseous, 2 neg pregnant tests, normal period. Can it be a flu, or body adjusting to birth control? Started 2nd pack

Could be: Certainly some medications may (birth control in your case) cause a metallic taste, as can viruses or bacteria that may cause infections. Usually, the body will adjust to the medication and the metallic taste will go away eventually. If the condition continues, seek medical evaluation. Good luck.

Bloating, frequent urination, metallic taste in mouth, back pain. No nausea or cramping. Still pms or pregnancy? Period due in a week

Bloating, frequent urination, metallic taste in mouth, back pain. No nausea or cramping. Still pms or pregnancy? Period due in a week

Not necessarily...: Your symptoms are non-specific. They could mean you are pregnant but they could also mean you have an infection in the uterus or bladder or many other things. If your period doesn't happen in a week, a pregnancy test would clarify the situation. Best wishes!

Remember: Remember health class where you learned that a new fetus has no physical or chemical connection to the mother for about fourteen days after conception? .
