Metallic Smell After Vomit
Last night after studying, I got tunnel vision, got extremely nauseous, vomited, and druring this episode, I had the smell of blood or metal.
Migraine likely: Sudden onset of tunnel vision, nausea and vomiting and peculiar smell would likely be a migraine attack. With such a migraine a headache would often (but not necessarily)follow. A less likely but possible cause would be a seizure. ***It's very important that you discuss this event with your physician or with a neurologist to be certain of the diagnosis and to exclude other possible causes.
Dec 25 I noticed slight green color on toilet tissue. Same next day. Two days later, green is gone but tissue is lighter brown and smell of vomitus?
Unclear: The assumption here is that we are talking about stool? Stool can be various colors including green as it may be affected by what is taken in. Stool never has a good odor and although the stool is lighter in color it is unclear as to what to do. If the patient has only noted this and not other symptoms such as pain or bleeding, it is unclear if there is anything to do. Would observe and follow doc
Post nasal drip: Once your mucus enters the stomach it mixes with acids, proteins and sulfur producing bacteria which will assist with the smell and taste. You should be increasing your water intact on a daily basis.
The smell of your stool is not indicative of a disease. It depends on your diet really. Healthy stool and colon relies on good diet fibre intake, fruit, veg, whole grain.
If there are no other symptoms, concentrate on diet.

Any suggestions for morning sickness? Trued snackng on bland food regularly but I'm constantly sick n usually vomit 6 times day +everything smells yuk
Remedies: There are many remedies for morning sickness. Some women use ginger tea, others might use a sea band. In terms of prescription there's zofran, and reglan (metoclopramide). There's also rectal compazine. You're doing the right thing by eating small bland meals more frequently. Sometimes a woman can only tolerate something as bland as crackers. Good luck.See 1 more doctor answer

Reflux: Without other details, we can't be sure. He could be spitting up in his mouth. Another reason for the smell is post nasal drip: if he has nasal allergy and produces mucus in his nose, it could drip to the back of the throat and cause the breath to be foul. Take him to the doctor to have this sorted out.

Ramsay-Hunt: Ramsay-hunt syndrome is involvement of the facial nerve by the same virus that causes chicken pox. It produces the facial weakness by inflaming the nerve. It also affects hearing and can be accompanied by dizziness and change in appetite along with vomiting. If this is been present for three weeks you should be on the road to recovery. On rare occasions there may be some associated involvement of cerebellar function (balance and coordination function)and involvement of other cranial nerves. If you have not seen a neurologist you should seriously consider doing so. There are better treatments available for nausea and vomiting than flat coke. Recovery of the facial nerve can be monitored electronically and there are medications for the pain. Please see a neurologist.See 1 more doctor answer
