It is not a common side effect, but metadate can cause increase in anxiety symptoms. Thus in someone with a tendency to have sweaty palm in anxious situation, metadate can certainly do this. Otherwise, it is not a common side effect.

"meth" also causes increase release of Dopamine that is in the brain cell which metadate does not.

Provided that you are being treated for a correct diagnoisis. Then md must consider that dose needs to be readjusted upward, also, md may need an alternative agent not methylphenidate but possible amphetamine. Psycostimulant. Also, I am assumming that no ohter agents are being taken thatt interfere with ritalin.
