I have a callus like bump on the right thumb metacarpophalangeal joint. It was a scab and doesn't itchor hurt. What should I do?
Metacarpophalangeal joint blister treatment - they keep opening. What is the best way to treat. I have been using neosporin.

I have severe thumb pain in my left thumb from texting so much I have to wear a brace. It makes my arm go numb why is that?

Overuse probable: You would know is trauma occurred, if not overuse or gripping something too tightly, which is much more common than joints moving. See ortho doc, PMR to evaluate and diagnose, then treatment can resolve it. Read more

Try few things, 1st.: Localized, unilateral joint/muscle pain has a variety of causes, most likely some kind of trauma, repeated movements leading to mm strain, early osteoarthritis--old bone or degenerative arthrittis-- at base of thumb is very often the joint first affected.
