Should not: as mesh is a tension free repair , fibrous tissue grows around will not allow displacement of mesh , rare occasions can happen . Discuss with your OB doctor , issue will be which is safer to you and baby , not slight chance of recurrence of hernia. Choice is obvious , Good Luck ...Read more

Common: Tough to know exactly what the problem is. Doubt is the mesh if there has been a long interval with no symptoms. Recent symptoms could be a sign of hernia recurrence. Doubt it: If this repair is several months old and the healing complete the mesh should be anchored well into the tissues so you kick should not dislodge the mesh ...Read more
