Is it true that mental health occupational therapy is now obsolete and has been removed from the list of "mental health providers? "
How can we get more healthcare providers to list transgender as a sex option on health forms to make data analysis research on our community easier.
Public policy change: Although gender non-conforming, trans* & people w/ intersex status have always existed, our society has stigmatized them by insisting on binary gender labels. Trans* persons have been forced 2 conform 2 these labels at the cost of their dignity & humanity. Public policy & healthcare have a long way 2 go 2 change this. Places like the UCSF Center 4 Exellence 4 Transgender Health are leading the way ...Read more

You mostly can't: Beyond the signs of obvious illness (fever, runny nose, cough, etc.), you can't tell. Just by looking, you can't tell if your child care provider might be carrying a virus, if she has a silent cancer growing, if she has diabetes she's not taking care of effectively, or most anything else. You can only see the illnesses that are obvious to all of us. ...Read more

Falsified document?: I'm not sure what kind of "falsified document" you mean. Also you haven't mentioned your relationship to the person the document is about. If you're concerned about the safety of a minor, though, you can report it to child protective services in your area. If you're the other parent of the child in question, you can also advise the mental health professional of your concerns. ...Read more

If: If add is the only problem and you have been stable on the same medication on the same dosage for a while, then usually this can be followed by a general or family practice physician. However, there are some general and family physicians who do not prescribe psychotropic medications. So, as you are looking for your new doctor, inquire as to whether he or she is willing to prescribe simple (not requiring multiple psychiatric medications) psychiatric medications. Good luck. ...Read more
That depends: I see that you are o effexor (venlafaxine). Is fear of abandonment a more general issue in your life than just fear of health care providers giving up on you? I agree with you, this definitely happens. It can depend on the doctor's training, their practice, what they themselves have seen and diagnosed in the past, and the way they understand the question. It can also depend on their "frame of reference", or how they are viewing the situation based on their fund of knowledge.
The same thing most likely happens in other professions, such as investment advisors giving conflicting information, or even mechanics. It is frustrating for patients and their families, but it is good to keep asking the questions and obtaining different opinions. ...Read more

Compared to the skull bone outside, how easily the palate bone be broken if the health care providers used too much force inside the mouth?
???????????: I have never seen\heard of any study on this or related issue. Nor have I ever heard of any accidental breakage of palatal bone by a health care practioner. One can accidentally break off some buccal bone of the maxilla when extracting a tooth when that bone is very thin. This is usually of little consequence unless an implant is planned, and in that case a bone graft can replace the lost bone. ...Read more

Totally garbled: Sorry, your post makes no sense at all. You seem to have some extremely fanciful notions about health & disease & what causes what.
