Tretinoin for acne: Tretinoin should be only used once a day, and typically at bedtime is best. You should apply a "pea-sized" amount on the time of your finger, dab the cream on areas of acne only, then massage the cream into the skin. Yes: This should not be used indefinitely no more than 2-3 months then stop for a month or so. THe hydroquione can cause discoloration of the skin the steroids will thin the skin and also cause pigment changes. Its best to discuss with the doctor who gave you the medication ...Read more

Does not work: Each of the medications u have listed may cause slight temporary bleaching of skin Each of them has side effects and may harm you. Do not use these: products with much sun exposure. Hydroquinone especially is supposed to bleach or whiten your skin, but will darken with significant sun exposure. Cover up when you are outdoors. Mometasone is a steroid and will cause infections to worsen if you have infected acne vulgaris or other eruptions. Tretinoin can also do the same as hydroquinone except more severe, along with burning and skin dryness ...Read more
