I wouldn't: Mainly because i would not recommend Demerol (meperidine hydrochloride) in anyone. It is an outdated drug with way too many side effects, and should have been off the market years ago. Nubain is a mixed agonist-antagonist, which means it works at one receptor (mu) while blocking another (kappa). In the typical site of im injections it would be unlikely to hit a nerve and cause pain and numbness.
